Shipping Policy

The time between when you place your order on BricksandBonds.ca and when you receive your items is broken up into two phases:

Processing is when we verify the details of your billing information and prepare your item for shipping in our warehouse. You can find out when specific items from your order have been processed by logging into your profile at www.BricksandBonds.ca

Shipping times can vary based on the shipping method you chose during your checkout process. Orders typically take one to three business days to be packaged and shipped from our distribution center. Days are measured in business days, not including weekends or holidays. All Xpresspost shipments to the United States require a signature upon delivery.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive tracking information via email as well as an update in your customer account. Ground and international shipping dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

*Note that processing and transit days are business days only.

For time sensitive orders please be sure that billing and shipping information is consistent with your credit card data as processing may be delayed.


Shipping Times

Expedited shipping takes approximately 2-14 days in Canada. XpressPost shipping usually takes less than a week.

Shipping to the US takes approximately 2-5 weeks with expedited shipping. XpressPost shipping takes 1-3 weeks. (May take longer to Hawaii, Alaska, military addresses and other non-standard addresses).

We offer three shipping methods for most items:

  • Standard Shipping: 3 to 7 business days, plus processing time
  • Express Shipping: 1 to 3 business days, plus processing time
  • Freight: 5 to 8 business days, plus processing time - Available only for oversize or heavy items

For remote locations, add 2-5 days to each shipping method. If you are not sure whether your location is remote, please see REMOTE LOCATIONS below.

Customers with an address containing a PO Box, Suburban Service, General Delivery, Rural Route or other designated route which cannot accept certain courier or freight deliveries, please restrict your orders to items that you can receive at your location or provide an alternative address.

BricksandBonds.ca will not be liable for any delay that is due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, weather-related and other uncontrollable shipping delays.

Wrong address, non received items and returns

If the item is not received and sent back to us by the postal service company you will be charged the actual shipping fee. The price of the item will be credited once we receive the item. We will contact you to inform you when we receive the package.

Remote Locations

BricksandBonds.ca charges the following shipping charges on orders to remote locations:

  • $14.99 on orders $300 and over
  • $29.99 on orders under $300

Remote locations are locations that Canada Post calls Air Stage Locations, ( http://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/prices/RCRZ-e-AI... places where mail must be airlifted for more than six (6) months of the year. Click here to view all postal codes and communities that are classified as Air stage locations.

There may also be additional shipping charges on orders depending on the size and bulk of the order. We will be sure to contact customers before any such charge is added, and we only do this very rarely.

BricksandBonds.ca is currently unable to accept returns from remote locations. If you have a problem with your order, please email customercare@bricksandbonds.ca

BricksandBonds.ca is trying very hard to offer the best service possible for our customers in remote areas.


How Shipping Costs Are Determined

We work hard every day to bring you the lowest possible shipping cost.

The shipping cost for most items is based on the item's size, weight, shipping method and delivery address.

Certain items may qualify for free shipping or other special promotional shipping prices from time to time. Offers vary depending on where you live, the items you select and your preferred shipping method. Qualifying items and the associated offers will be identified on the order pages. Ensure that you have entered your postal code correctly to see the offers that are available to you. If you have more than one item in your cart, different shipping rates may apply. Many of these offers are valid for a limited time only. To receive the special shipping offer, the item must be purchased during the offer, and not just when item(s) are placed in your cart. Offers are subject to change without notice.

Please note: You will see your actual shipping cost once you have entered your address and selected your shipping method during checkout.


Track Your Orders

For most orders, you can track your orders  after  Bricksandbonds has processed your order for shipment.  MyAccount =>  Order History => Order ID => Receipt

Your Tracking Number will be displayed under the "Order#/Tracking No:" Section of your Thank you Receipt.

This will allow you to follow your package's progress.


Order Modification

Your order begins processing immediately after you confirm and press the Checkout button on the Checkout page. There is a limited time after you submit your order when it may be possible to change your shipping address, shipping method or payment method, but once the order moves into the shipping process, it cannot be modified.

To request a modification after you have submitted your order, please contact Customer Service at customercare@bricksandbonds.ca with your order number for quick resolution.
